The mutability means that the Sagittarian has many strings to His/Her bow, firing enthusiastic arrows into the air, although the aims can be careless; the nature now wanting to spend the time to follow the flight of the arrow, to see where it lands.

This can imply that Sagittarians can get easily sidetracked, swerving away from the path of investigation because something else has taken his curiosity. The fact is that this Fire-Sign has a very curious nature and has no sense of time. To the Sagittarian, the day is a week long, so the nature is to lose all sense of time when happily rambling along, seeking new adventures.

The nature is one which likes to broaden the knowledge through areas of travel or study, sometimes both, the person who goes off into the jungle, forging new trails, then comes back to civilization a year later to write about the adventures, so others can learn about the different cultures and religions, hitherto unheard of.
When it comes to religions, the Sagittarius can get on a ‘High-Horse’, preaching a sermon about morals and codes of conduct, even though there is also the nature of the Stallion, ‘The Stud’ lurking just below the surface. The Sagittarius can often seem more promising than is worth, in that He/She can promise the earth, offer help in abundance, even exaggerate the promises, so that, when the time comes, the Sagittarius will never have the time to fill all the commitments made!
