SAGITTARIUS SUN in 2nd. HOUSE.

SUN IN SAGITTARIUS IN THE SECOND HOUSE.

When the Sun sits in the Second House, then you might easily wander from one job to another, always hoping to buy what you need, to proudly wear the trappings of success; but you might never stay long enough in one job to amass the coinage needed to buy what you want. Again; you would take a chance with your savings, becoming philosophical if you lose the lot…’Easy come, easy go.’.

In a strange way, you are quite happy to earn a little, as long as you gained applause for the work you do, gain a reputation for being able to run the whole show and earn your bosses a good income. But you do seek a job which allows you to be creative, to show your worth; but, if you don’t get the appreciation and applause that you feel you deserve, then you will walk away, all the poorer for the experience.
Financial security might never be your strong point, in that you are not around long enough to put money into a secure vault. You are mutable, changeable, needing to travel and spend time in study. In this way, money can be spent on travel tickets and/or books, or simply wandering from post to post in an aimless way.

You are aware that you seek recognition, to hold a position of authority and be looked-up to in the way you can afford to spend money. Thus, you can always over-stretch your finances, so you end up owing money all over the place. The thing is, you have the heart of a traveling artist, one who wanders, seeking a post whereby you might display your work, hoping that someone will buy you creations. Financial consideration is all about enthusiasm and hope, hoping you can pay your way. The biggest problem, which can keep you poor, is your dislike of asking for pay or a loan, your pride will not allow others to see how much you might need the money to move on!

I am a Capricorn woman with Sagittarius ruling my second house and I have to admit I have had at least 40 jobs in my lifetime. I did need to work but being a secretary was not very interesting to me after a point so I wandered from job to job until retirement. Just wanted to let you know that what you said about the Sagittarian Sun being in the 2nd house was pretty much the same as Sagittarius being the ruler of the 2nd house. My sun is in the 3rd house but from what you said neither one of my natal positions had a chance of keeping me in the same position for more than a few years. Good information. C. Roberts
