SUN IN CAPRICORN IN THE TENTH HOUSE.

When the Sun sits in the Tenth House, then you will want to achieve a position of importance, of top status and a good, hard-working reputation. At the same time, while you are not one who will brag or show-off, you can be dramatic in the way you create the openings which help you in your climb. In a way, the importance of gaining such a high seat can be above all else, that career and work are put in front of home and family.

You might find that you fit the bill as a politician, with a flair for drama and acting the part. You will understand that all high-powered executives like to act with some aloofness and expect the lower orders to bow before them, as if one is born to give orders.
It’s a fact that you are no ‘Flash-in-the-pan; you will work hard for your position and will work even harder to keep it. You also know that, should there be any hitches or hold-ups, then the ‘Buck’ stops with you. This fact can cause certain feelings of uncertainty; you want to be admired, applauded as a person who sits at the head of any company; and failure, mistakes in deployment can be very costly to one’s reputation, to have fingers of criticism laughing at your loss of pride. So you might well work under the prominence of a leader, becoming the ‘Vice-president’, always waiting to take over, should the leader fall from grace; also knowing that you only followed orders and the decisions came down from the ‘Top’, thus not your fault.

You would have to be careful that others do not see you as somewhat aloof and snooty, that your proud position lifts you away from the masses. This act comes, not from a sense of ‘Looking Down’ on the ‘Working Classes’ but, more, from a desire to be ‘Looked-up to’! You will lift yourself up and out from those on the shop floor but it’s a steady climb and half a life-timer before you rise to the applause and acclaim of the audience!
